A lot of people think that Valentine’s Day is a made up “Hallmark” Holiday.  Well…it’s true!  Most people, including myself, dread the day.  The day can be depressing and sometimes stressful.  There is so much pressure that comes along with the day-reservations need to be made, flowers need to be bought, presents need to be purchased and so much more.  The truth is is that you can make Valentine’s Day inexpensive and fun with no pressure at all.  We came up with 40  fun and affordable Valentine's Date Nights In New Orleans. 

1. Pack a picnic and head to City Park.
2. Open up a bottle of wine and head down memory lane.  Look at old pictures and laugh about memories that were made.
3. Break out the board games and have a game night.
4. Dust off the cook books and prepare dinner together.
5. Meet after work and enjoy a happy hour and some apps at your favorite spot.
6. Go bowling and listen to some music at Rock N Bowl.
7. Be a tourist in your own city and take turns playing tour guide.
8. Window shop on Magazine Street.
9. Rent the Paddle Boats in City Park and explore.
10. Take a romantic stroll by the Mississippi River.
11. Rent the Blue Bikes and explore NOLA.
12. Do a scavenger hunt for your significant other.
13. Prepare your own bar crawl through the French Quarter
