French Story Time & Craft

August 4, 2018 at Children’s Resource Center Library from 12-1 pm. All ages welcome. Ms. Vanessa visits all the way from Paris, France and reads and enacts stories en Francais. Story time is followed by a craft.

Crescent City Reading Buddies Book Club

August 7, 2018 at Rosa Keller Library from 4-5:30 pm. Middle school students can volunteer to read to younger children, ages 2-7. They read one-on-one. This is a great skill builder for the younger and older student. Plus who doesn’t love sharing a great story! There is a snack and craft at each meeting. Students age 12-14 who are interested in volunteering should email Nikki at nleali@icloud.com

Reading to Rover

August 9, 2018 at Rosa Keller Library from 6-7 pm. All ages welcome. Reading to Rover is an opportunity to share the love of a dog with children who want to practice reading aloud, which builds fluency!
