This month there are almost more festivals than days, say whaaa….. I believe bigger problems have arisen, lol. Forget deciding who to go with, I’m pretty sure you’ll see everyone along the way. Que Pasa Fest

Thursday, Oct.4th- Sunday, Oct.7th at Lafreniere Park. Come celebrate the influences Latinos have had on New Orleans with live music, dancing, food, vendors and fun.  Learn More 

Oktoberfest

Friday, Oct.5th- Saturday, Oct.6th; Friday, Oct.12th- Saturday, Oct.13th; Friday, Oct.19th- Saturday, Oct.20th on Bayou St. John in NOLA. When on the Bayou do what the Germans do. They’ll have Dachshund races, German food, Oompah music, Schnauzer costume contests, performances, and Dancing Chicken. In addition, they’ll have a  Masskrugstemmen, and of course beer. Learn More 

Treme Fall Festival

Friday, Oct.5th- Sunday, Oct.7th at St. Augustine Church. The proceeds from the festival benefit projects that benefit the revitalization of the Tremé and its culture. Come out for a patron party, and then a Street Festival with an all day music line up on Saturday. Learn More 

Beignet Fest

Saturday, Oct.6th from 10am-6pm at the New Orleans City Park Festival Grounds. Experience Beignets like never before, served over 30 different ways, from food trucks, restaurants and more. Have fun with the entire family while enjoying live entertainment, kids activities as well as an Artists Market. All Proceeds are donated to the Tres Doux Foundation. Learn More 

Japan Fest

Saturday, Oct.6th from 10am-4pm at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Celebrate Japanese culture with Japanese cuisine, traditional dances, martial arts demonstrations, fashion shows and tours of NOMA’s Japanese art collection. Most notably, this is the largest celebration of Japanese culture in the Gulf South. Learn More

Saturday, Oct.6th from 11am-7pm at 2500 General Meyer Ave. Come celebrate the military and our community with food, music, kids activities and fun. Learn More 

Art for Art’s Sake

Saturday, Oct.6th from 5pm-9pm on Magazine Street in New Orleans. Kick off NOLA Arts Season with shopping, wine, gallery openings, music, fun and friends. Learn More 

NODRFT Fall Fest

Saturday, Oct.6th- Sunday, Oct.7th at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale. Get ready to burn up the KART Track! Bring your family, friends and all the tires you can afford for a weekend of fun in the sun. You must pre-register and read all rules. Learn More 

Fall Garden Festival

Saturday, Oct.6th- Sunday, Oct.7th at New Orleans City Park Botanical Garden. Not only do you get to take in the beauty of the plants for sale, but also participate in programs, studies and shows. You can also take a walk down the Scarecrow Trail or dance to live music while the children play in the Fun Fest activities area. Muffuletta Festival

Sunday, Oct.7th from 10am-8pm at Nor-Joe Imports in Metairie. Celebrate Italian culture in its rarest form with the best food. Enjoy music from this year’s headliners Benny Grunch and the Bunch, as well as experience fun for the littlest meatballs. WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival 2018

Friday, Oct.12th -Sunday, Oct.14th at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Re-live the 1940’s with entertainment from the era, the PT-305 in the water and the WWII birds overhead. Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival

Bat Festival
