Ice skate into the Convention Center and keep Holiday Cheer alive for the last day of NOLA Christmas Fest! Hop on a carnival ride to meet Santa or visit the Gingerbread House Exhibit. Cost is $20 a person and includes all rides and ice skating and activities.

Countdown to NOON

Start the “New Year” off with a cheer at the Louisiana Children’s Museum complete with confetti, balloon drop, DIY crafts, and more. Cost is $8 for LCM Members and $12 for non members.

 Zoo Year’s Eve

Celebrate with music, games, prizes, & noise makers!! Countdown and toast with your Pepsi at noon at Audubon Zoo’s Zoo Year’s Eve Celebration all for the cost of a zoo admission, so if you’re a Audubon Member this even is “free”.

Have a Ball!

Cinderella is having a Royal New Year’s Eve Ball and you’re invited. There will be food, drinks and fun with Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Royal Court from 10am-12:30pm at English Turn Country Club. Tickets start at $44 per person.

Go Bowling

Catch a Movie:

Catch a movie with the family at one of our many local cinemas. Buy your tickets before you leave the house on Fandango .

Home Sweet Home

Don’t want to venture out? Awesome, FUN is what you bring with you! Make it a night to remember with a themed event in your PJ’s or play dress up. Create your own time frame by using on demand countdowns with favorite characters or with different time zones.

Try a “mocktail” party with DIY tiaras, party hats, confetti eggs, noise makers, and photobooth. Top it off with a make your own dessert bar and a specialty “mocktail” for toasting and don’t forget the tunes.

Have a Camp-in…Build a Fort, reminisce about the year by flashlight, make s’mores, create a touch & feel box.

Make it a Movie Night!!! Christmas movies to prolong the holiday spirit maybe?

Make a Time Capsule

No New Year’s Eve is complete without a TIME CAPSULE! Collect memorabilia and special items from the year, take photos, write down some resolutions, throw in some “what I am thankful for” notes, seal them up in a container of your choosing (I like mason jars), and decorate. Now you truly have a night to remember. Happy New Year!
