Disney announced all the new attractions coming soon to Walt Disney World at the 2017 D23 Expo this past weekend. Exciting new things are happening at Walt Disney World and we can’t wait to see them.

The magic kingdom will gain a new coaster like attraction aboard a two-wheel vehicle. TRON Lightcycle Power Run will replace the Tomorrowland Speedway. This attraction will be just as anticipated as the attraction was at Shanghai Disneyland.

In Hollywood Studios Mickey and Minnie’s railway will takeover the set of the Great Movie Ride. The railway will be a “2 ½ D” experience. Guests will travel into films with the beloved mouse. An opening date was not mentioned.

Another very exciting aspect is coming to Hollywood Studios. A long awaited Toy Story Land will open in the summer of 2018! It will feature an added track to Toy Story Mania, a brand new Slinky Dog rollercoaster, and much more!
Star Wars Land
Star Wars: A Galaxy’s Edge is the name of the new Star Wars Land, will open sometime in 2019. As the name suggests the setting of the land is at the edge of space in a remote trading port. Guests will be able to fly the Millennium Falcon and go aboard a Star Destroyer in a hangar bay. Guests will have experiences like never before! From “galactic credits” to local bounty hunters, guests are sure to be immersed in a place that’s far, far away! If you’re hoping for a drinking station with the “blue milk” you are going to be excited because it will be included!
New Attractions at EPCOT
Guardian’s of the Galaxy Ride
Epcot will get some makeovers as well. Ellen’s Universe of Energy will transform into a Guardian’s of the Galaxy, which is sure to be “an out of this world adventure”!

Mission Space Restaurant
Mission space will also get a greener upgrade. Guests will be able to get a view of Earth like never before. A new space themed restaurant nearby is going to offer a unique view that is out of this world.
New Transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort
Minnie Van Service
It’s no surprise that Disney World encompasses a large set of land. This land is roughly the size of San Francisco. Two new modes of transportation will be at your service. A new “Minnie” van will be at your service to take you to your destination via roads.
A new gondola will be able to connect you via the air from Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Hollywood Studios, and the Gateway in Epcot. You may remember the gondolas that crossed through Magic Kingdom in from 1956 to 1994. Disney is reviving this lost treasure in a new way.
