Mardi Gras In New Orleans

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is one of the best times of the year. The parades, the costumes, KING CAKE. If you bleed purple, green, and gold like most New Orleanians, then this is the place for you. We have everything you need for a great Carnival Season – king cakes, parade schedules, activities, and more. Happy Mardi Gras.

Is New Orleans Mardi Gras Family Friendly?

Living away from New Orleans now, this is probably the number one thing I hear from those that have only experienced or heard about Mardi Gras in New Orleans on Bourbon Street.

My answer is yes, Mardi Gras in New Orleans is 100% Family Friendly! The boob flashing generally only happens on Bourbon Street by tourists. The rest of us are lined up along the parade route (mostly Uptown and/or Metairie) with our kids and our friends and having a family-friendly street party. If you want to experience New Orleans Mardi Gras with kids and need ideas on where to stand, just ask. We’ll be happy to help.
