It’s time to ring in the New Year and celebrate 2020! Having kids means celebrating New Year’s a little differently. You either have to include them in the party or find a sitter, which can get expensive. Don’t worry. We found ten kid-friendly ways you can celebrate New Year’s Eve in Pensacola.

Noon Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop at Crabs

Live entertainment, games, mocktails, cotton candy, and more at Crabs on Pensacola beach from 10 am-noon.

Tryon Tuesdays

Children can play store and pretend to shop until they drop at the Tryon Library at 4 pm.

Noon Year’s Eve at The Little Gym of Pensacola

Snacks, crafts, a balloon drop, and fun at The Little Gym of Pensacola from 10:45 am – 12:15 pm. Free for members

Midnight Fireworks on Pensacola Beach

Bring the kids and watch the fireworks over the Santa Rosa Sound from the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk on Quietwater Beach at midnight.

Ice Skating at the Pensacola Bay Center

Take the family ice skating on NYE at the Pensacola Bay Center. There are two times to choose from 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The cost is $12 per person.

Elmo New Year’s Eve Play Date

New Year’s Eve Play Date for toddlers from 8:30 am-noon with Elmo joining the fun from 10-11 am. $10 per child at Gulf Breeze Play Date (inside the Gulf Breeze Rec Center Gym).

Special Needs Happy NOON Year Party

Special needs children and their parents are invited to a Special NOON Year Party at the Tiger Point Community Center in Gulf Breeze from 11 am-1 pm. There will be lunch, treats, and a balloon drop at noon. FREE, but you will need tickets. 

Harry Potter Yule Ball

Dress as your favorite witch or wizard and help build Hogwarts from 3-6 pm at the Milton Library Branch. Make bookmarks, design your own wand, and snack on Harry Potter-themed snacks.

Kids Confetti Drop at the Wharf

The Wharf in Orange Beach is having its inaugural Kids Confetti Drop from 10 am-2 pm, with confetti falling all over the streets at noon. There will also be kids activities priced $5-10 and a poodle shows. 

NYE Street Party at the Wharf

Have fun from 5 pm-midnight at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Kids activities from 5-9 pm, live music from 7 pm-midnight, and fireworks to ring in the New Year. Free admission, kids activities will cost $5-10.

Lulu’s Noon Year’s Eve

Lulu’s in Gulf Shores and Destin are having a kid-friendly NYE Celebration from 10 am-2 pm with face painting, kid-friendly fireworks (bubble wrap), a sandcastle building contest, and a balloon drop at noon.

City of Fairhope’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

The city of Fairhope will be celebrating New Year’s in Downtown Fairhope from 8:30 pm-12:30 am with live music, face painting, and fireworks at midnight.

Have a Party at Home

Don’t feel like going out and fighting the crowds? You can turn on Netflix for a fun NYE countdown from your child’s favorite characters and have a rocking NYE party at home.
