It's almost Halloween. The fun is just starting and ramps up in just about two weeks and every weekend leading up to the big day is FULL of Halloween fun. Now's the time to make your plans and get your tickets to these nine t Must Do Halloween Activities for New Orleans Kids.

Spooky Tours

Kid-friendly ghost tours are available all season long. Kids can tour the French Quarter, learn New Orleans History and hear some ghost stories about the city's past inhabitants.

Trunk Or Treats

Kid-friendly trick or treating at local schools, businesses, and churches throughout the month of October.

Boo Dat at the Riverwalk

October 23 from 1:30 – 4:30 at the Riverwalk. Trick or treating, kids activities, goodies, and more.

Krewe of Boo

Saturday, October 23 from 6:30 to 9 pm the parade begins at Elysian Fields and ends in the Warehouse District.  This is a fun parade for the entire family to get ready for Halloween. Parade Route

Park a Boo

Date and times TBA, at Lafreniere Park. Children 12 and under can dress in costume and play games, trick or treat, listen to a story, get their face painted, and more. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 2-12, and FREE for children ages 2 and under.

Peek-A-Boo At the Zoo

The Audubon Zoo's annual Halloween event. Children to age 12 will enjoy activities, games, trick or treating, and more on October 20-24. Activities are included with general admission.

Boo Carre Halloween Haunt

Trick or treating, live music, kids activities and more at the Boo Carre Halloween Haunt on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10 am – 4:30 pm in Dutch Alley in the French Market. Costomes encourage. FREE!

Monster Mash

Take a trip across the lake to Bogue Falaya Park on Saturday, October 23, 2021, for Monster Mash. There will be trick-or-treating, music, cookie decorating, crafts, carnival rides and so much more. Tickets go on sale on October 1, 2021.
