The Jefferson Parish Library offers some of the best children’s and teen programing in the area. Halloween time is full of crafts, storytimes and even some trick or treating at the local libraries. Here are the Halloween events at the Jefferson Parish Library you can attend for some FREE Halloween fun.

Halloween Events at the East Bank Regional Library

Teens can make Halloween themed Cubecrafts in the Teen Center from 3-8:30pm on October 2nd.

Felt Skull Plushies

Teen Horror Movie Marathon

Charlie Brown Halloween Book Challenge

Children up to age 12 can stop by the library and pick up a bookmark to record the books they check out in the month of October. Bookmarks must be turned in on October 30th. First place will win a snoopy pillow and second place will win a Great Pumpkin Diorama. All children will receive a small prize when they turn in their bookmarks.

Pumpkin Pageant

Ages 13 and up can decorate a felt pumpkin for a prize. Each person will get one felt pumpkin and polly-fill. Winners will be announced on Halloween Day.

Storytime Detective

Children ages 3-7 can go on the Case for the Missing Library Book and find It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown from 10:30-11:30am on October 3rd.

Day of the Dead Posters
