Free Christmas Events In New Orleans
Roosevelt Hotel Lobby
Daily now through Christmas. The lobby of the Roosevelt Hotel is transformed into a winter wonderland of lights every holiday season.
St. Louis Cathedral and St. Augustine Church Concerts
Various dates now and throughout the holiday season. Free holiday concerts with local New Orleans musicians.
Holiday Cookie Decorating for the Kids
Fridays and Saturdays, December 1st – 23rd from 12-2 pm at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Kids can decorate cookies at Le Croissant Restaurant located on the 1st floor next to Drago’s.
December 1st – 23rd. Hourly snowfall, lights, and a gingerbread display in the hotel lobby can be seen daily from 11 am – 10 pm. Live music and Santa every Friday and Saturday night starting at 6pm.
NOPSI Hotel Lighting
December 1st at 5 pm (lighting starts at 5:45) at the NOPSI Hotel. Enjoy festive treats, complimentary champagne, festive treats, and live entertainment.
December 2nd at 1 pm. New Orleans’s very own Christmas Parade.
Santa at the Rink
December 2nd from 10 am – 1 pm at Garden District Book Shop. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa!
December 2nd from 10 am – 12:30 pm at Ursuline Academy. Live music, refreshments, arts and crafts for the kids, pictures with Santa by Pat Garin Photographer, and Christmas shopping for the adults!
St. Nick Celebration
Saturdays and Sundays, December 2nd – 17th from 11 am – 4 pm. Holiday fun, live music, kids activities and more. The fun and music are free, however Santa pictures are not.
