Easter in New Orleans is a great time for New Orleans kids and families. Egg hunts, brunches, and of course a parade. Easter Egg Hunts in New Orleans
Pint-Sized NOLA Easter Egg Hunt: March 4th from 10am-NOON. Join us for our 2018 Easter Egg Hunt Sponsored by Rapid Urgent Care, KidCamp Camps and Woodlake Tennis and Swim Club. Tickets include: admission to the egg hunt, snacks, drinks, bunny pictures and the egg hunt for children 0-12 years old and more. We will have Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Elena, Rapunzel & Tiana from NOLA Pixie Dust joining us! Mount Carmel Easter Eggstravaganza: March 10th from 9:30am – 12:30pm at the Duplantis Gymnasium, Milne Blvd. Breakfast, Easter Egg Hunt and pictures with the bunny. Cost: $10 per person.
St. Mary’s Dominican Easter Egg Roll: March 10th from 10am-NOON on the lawn on Dominican’s Campus. Crafts, snacks, petting zoo, egg hunt, and Easter Bunny pictures. Cost: $20 per family.
First Lady Egg Hunt: March 18th from 10am-1pm at the Sidney Torres Memorial Park in Chalmette. Easter egg hunt for ages 0-10, Easter Bunny pictures, yard games, train rides, obstacle course and more. Children will receive Easter bags and refreshments. FREE.
Longue Vue House and Gardens Egg Hunt: March 24th at Longue Vue House and Gardens. Morning hunt from 9:30-10:30am with the hunt at 10am and the afternoon hunt from 12:30-1:30pm with the hunt at 1pm. Also face painting, lawn games and more. Registration required. Cost: $10 for members | $12 for non members | 2 and under FREE
NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival: March 24th from 10am-1pm at the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Face painting, crafts, activities, petting zoo and more. Cost: $10 for Members | $12 for Non-Members | $15 At the Gate | Ages 2 and under FREE
City Park Egg Scramble: March 24th and 25th from 9am-NOON at the Carousel Gardens and Amusement Park and Storyland. Music, face painters, Easter bunny and an egg hunt with a special toddler area in Storyland at 10am. Included in your ticket is unlimited amusement park rides from 10:30am-NOON.
Confetti Kids Easter Egg Hunt: March 25 (Sunday before Easter) at Confetti Park in Algiers. FREE

Easter Brunches In New Orleans
Hoppin Down the River: March 24th at 10:30am and 2pm on the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen. Meet Bourgeois the Bunny and have your picture taken with him. Hold an alligator, play games, enjoy a lunch buffet, Easter treats and more. Cost: $59 for adults | $39 for ages 3-12 | $10 for ages 0-2.
Easter Bunny In New Orleans
Easter Bunny Arrival Celebration: March 3rd from 10am-NOON at Lakeside Mall. Welcome the Easter Bunny and join him in a second line parade through the mall. There will also be characters, a balloon artist and more. After the event the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures in center court.
Easter Bunny at Clearview Mall: Have your picture taken with the bunny from March 15th-31 in the mall’s center court. Hours are Monday – Thursday from 11am-8pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am-8pm, Sunday from NOON to 5pm. Pet photos March 19th and 26th from 7-9pm. You can also take a train ride around the bunny garden Monday-Thursday from 4-8pm, Friday and Saturday from 11-8pm and Sunday from NOON-5pm.
Easter Bunny at Oakwood Shopping Center: The Easter Bunny will be at the mall for pictures from March 16th-31st. There will also be some special events such as Family Day on March 18th from 1-5pm, Dress Your Best on March 25th from 1-5pm and Pet night in the JCPenny Wing March 19th and 26th from 5-8pm. Easter Parades In New Orleans
The Historic French Quarter Easter Parade: April 1st. Leaves Antoine’s Restaurant at 9:45am to the St. Louis Cathedral for 11am Mass. After Mass the parade participants promenade to Jackson Square and then return to Antoine’s.
Chris Owens French Quarter Easter Parade: Starts at the corner of Canal and Bourbon St at 1pm and rolls through the French Quarter past the Chris Owens Club at 500 Bourbon.
Gay Easter Parade: This family friendly parade put on by the LGTB community takes a leisurely route through the French Quarter on Easter afternoon.
Other Easter Events In New Orleans
Rouses Kids Cooking Class: March 1st from 5-6:30pm at the Rouses on Power Blvd in Metairie. Children ages 5-14 can make chick deviled eggs and Twinkie Peep race cars. Cost: $10 per participating child.
Bunny Fest: March 30th and 31st from 11am-6pm at Lafreniere Park. Games, crafts, pony rides, egg hunts, bounce houses and more. Cost: $7 for adults | $5 for children 12 and under
