Check out the light displays at Celebration in the Oaks in City Park.
NOLA Christmas Fest
Ice skate together at the NOLA Christmas Fest. Or throw “snowballs at each other” and slide down the ice slide be a kid again!
Hotel Christmas Lobbies
Hotel Lobby Hop and check out all of the light displays. Some of our favorites to visit are: The Roosevelt, Harrahs Hotel, Monteleone and many more.
Jackson Square
Enjoy live Music & Caroling in Jackson Square.
Holiday Cocktail Tour
Sip on a Holiday Cocktail at some of our favorites spots in NOLA. The Sazerac Room, The Carousel Lounge, The Ritz and many more.
Go to a Game
Cheer on our Pelicans at a Pels Game or scream “Who Dat” at a Saints Game.
Plantation Tours
Go back in time and visit some of our amazing plantations that surround NOLA.We love: Whitney Plantation, Oak Alley, Houmas House, Laura Plantation and many more.
Go to a Christmas Concert.
Enjoy music with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Or you can go to one of the many free concerts at St. Augustin Church and the St. Louis Catherdral this holiday season.
Dinner and Christmas Lights
Take a Garden District Food Tour, afterwards hop on a street car to check out all of the beautifully decorated homes on St. Charles Ave.
Christmas Bonfires
Get cozy and watch the Christmas Bonfires on Algiers Levee.
Go Christmas Shopping
Shop small and visit the shops on Magazine Street for some fun Christmas shopping together. Stop and have lunch at Jung's Golden Dragon.
Go see the Nutcracker
Enjoy the ballet together seeing the Nutcracker. There are many to choose from around the city. The Orpheum Theater, Delta Festival Ballet, Jefferson Performing Arts Center and the Saenger Theater all offer times and dates for the Nutcracker.
See a Play or Broadway Show.
Everyone's favorite A Christmas Story will be at the Saenger Theater. Annie will be at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. And The Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts has a show called Scrooge in Rouge.
Go Running with Santa
Get some exercise and enjoy the Running with the Santas.
Catch a Parade
Catch a parade in December at the Krewe of Jingle Parade. There are also parades in Harahan, Narco and on the Northshore.
Take a Carriage Ride
Nothing is more romantic than a private carriage ride through the French Quarter looking at all the Christmas decorations.
New Orleans Fair Grounds
Try your luck with the ponies and watch horse racing at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.
Dance the Night Away
While listing to a band at the House of Blues.
