Free Mardi Gras Mask Making at La GUILD
Monday, Feb.5th from 10am-6pm, 2nd floor of Canal Place (333 Canal St.), decorate a mask to add to your attire on the parade route all Mardi Gras season. Continues daily through Monday, Feb.12th.
Monday, Feb.5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm, NAS JRB New Orleans Library, 400 Russell Ave, Bldg. 57, Belle Chasse. Come decorate Zulu coconuts, and get the chance to win one! RSVP- 504-678-3078.
West Coast Swing social dance @ Rock-N-Bowl
Monday, Feb.5th from 8:30pm-11pm. 3000 S. Carrollton Ave.Come enjoy WCS FREE for all ages, food and drinks will be for sale. There will be a swing class prior from 7:30pm-8:30pm for ages 12 & up, $15.
Mornings with Mommy
Tuesday, Feb.6th at 11am Barnes and Noble, 3721 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie. It’s a Valentine’s Day Celebration with Peppa Pig and the I Love You Game with activities to follow.
Wednesday, Feb.7th at 2pm, ZukaBaby 3248 Severn Ave, in Metarie. Caregivers and babies 0-24 months can enjoy storytime and open play.
Wednesday, Feb. 7th from 2pm-3pm located at and presented by the New Orleans Jazz Museum, 400 Esplanade Ave., NOLA in partnership with New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park. Experience history brought to life through stories, singing, and dancing.
Music Box Village Public Hours
Friday, Feb.9th from 3pm-7pm at 4557 N. Rampart St. “Come play in our musical town” and immerse yourself in the combined works of the over 50 artists who built the Music Box Village. Admission is free, but donations are welcome to support public use.
Parents’ Night Out
Friday, Feb.9th from 6pm-8pm at Crossroads Community Church, 3233 Loyola Ave., Kenner. Snacks, drinks, and activities for kids Pre-K-12th grade. No sick kids please. For more info and registration, visit Facebook Event Page.
Debo License Plate Live Art Saturday
Saturday, Feb.10th from 6pm-1am at Palace Market, 619 Frenchmen St., NOLA. See Debo upcycle license plates into works of art before your eyes right there on Frenchmen Street.
